She was predeceased by: her parents, Gideon Columbus and Bertie Mae Peeler Miller; her husband Robert "Bob" McKinney; and her son Mark McKinney. She is survived by: her sons, Jeff McKinney (Debbie) of Denton and Eric McKinney of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Matthew McKinney (Kristin), Ashley McKinney and Will McKinney; and her great grandchild RaeLynn McKinney.
