She was predeceased by: her parents, John Shepard and Villa Blake Shepard; her husband Grover Edward Goins; and her daughter Mary Ann Goins Simmons. She is survived by: her children, Sybil Goins Redmon of Denton and Bruce Scott Goins (Rhonda) of Lexington. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
