He is survived by: his wife Doris Hussey Emery; his daughter Melissa Emery Allen of Denton; his granddaughter Andrea Allen of High Point; his son-in-law Tim Journey (Shelia) of Trinity; and his sisters, Audrey Walker of Grantville and Janice Ashworth (Jerald) of Asheboro.
