She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Bob" E. Slack; and her brother John Daniel "Danny" Oakley. She is survived by: her daughter Michelle Slack Tucker (Dean) of Lexington; her grandsons, Seth Tucker and Heath Tucker; her sister Barbara Kiker (Harold) of Peachland; her nephews, Scott Kiker, John Slack (Janet), Scott Slack, Danny Slack and Ed Loflin; and her friends, Donnie Hill and Diane Hill.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to First United Methodist Church PO Box 1792, Denton, NC 27239 or to Hospice of Davidson County 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
