She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Lanier and Elma Russell Lanier; her husband Lloyd Lee Scarboro; her siblings, David Lanier, Paul Lanier and Elwina Shaw; and her son-in-law Ben Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Frankie Scarboro (Glenda), Bobby Scarboro (Patricia) and Linda Scarboro Williams of Denton; her sisters, Margurite Nance of Denton, Betty Jo Yates of Denton and Ann See of Denton; and her grandchildren, Derald Williams, Mark Williams (Regina), Kevin Scarboro (Michelle), Derek Scarboro, Stephanie Jones (Kevin) and Tonya Johnson (Danny). She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
