With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Lanier of Denton, North Carolina, who passed away on August 27, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roger Dale Lanier; her father Ivy Ray Whittington; and her siblings, Rhonda, Wanda Whittington, Joyce Whittington Sharpe and Jimmy Ray Whittington.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Gaines (Darryl) of Greensboro, Derrick Lanier of Denton and Dale Lanier of Denton; her mother Verla Smith of Randleman; her sister Helen Hodge of Asheboro; her daughter-in-law Kelly Lanier of Asheboro; her grandchildren, Mason Lanier of Jace Lanier, J. R, Ivie Lanier, Whitney Brown, Dillon Brown and Taylor Gaines; and her great grandchildren, Kayson, Isaac and Malachi.
