He was predeceased by: his parents, John Otis and Kate Floyd Bivens; and his brother Kent. He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his daughters, Jessica Bivens of Denton and Summer Rawls (Thomas) of Denton; his grandchildren, Maci, Preslee and Parker; his brother Mark (Kim); and his nieces, Emma of Charlotte and Hannah of Charlotte.
