He was predeceased by: his parents, James Marshall and Mable Marshall; and his wife Christine Marshall. He is survived by: his sister Beretha Odle; his daughters, Janet Marshall and Judy Marshall; his granddaughter Kimberly Marshall; his son Johnny Marshall (Tracey); his grandchildren, Mikey Threat (Missy), Tracy Laney (Rob), Cody Ervin (Shanna), Melissa Marshall (Bubba) and Colton Kimbrell (Lauren); his great grandchildren, Michael Threat, Kristen Threat, Zane Wagoner, Akasha Berry, Rayne Hicks, Savannah Laney, Zoey Wagoner, Nathan Laney, Raine Vinson, Connor Kimbrell and Makayla Kimbrell; and his brothers, Curtis of Denton and Burley Marshall of Denton.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Denton Civic Center (201 W Salisbury St, Denton, NC 27239).
