He is survived by: his parent Martha Jane Powell; his sons, Brent Powell (Karen) of Denton and Brian Powell (Jamie) of Denton; his brothers, Troy Powell (Wilo Dene) of New Hope and Earl Powell (Jimmie) of Thomasville; his stepbrother Wayne Shipton; and his grandchildren, Blaine Powell, Marisa Powell and Trevor Powell.
