He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Cooper and Ada Harrell Cooper; his former wife Ina Bradley Cooper; and his daughter Sharon Cooper Hulin. He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice McDowell Cooper of Denton; and his children, David Cooper of Randleman and Ethel Cooper of Southmont. He is also survived by five grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
