He was predeceased by: his parents, Jefferson "Jeff" Davis Strickland and Charity Derotha Hayes Strickland; his son Timothy "Tim" Strickland; and his siblings, Elbert Strickland, Douglas Lamar Hayes and Julia Haynie.
He is survived by: his wife Beulah Moore Strickland; his son Tracy Strickland of Denton; his siblings, Roland Strickland of Denton and Ethel Lynn Nobles of Lexington; his grandchildren, Hatti, Jordan and Dawson; and his great grandchildren, Cameron, Lauren, Mason, Logan and Ayden.
Mr. Strickland was born on July 1, 1945 in Horry County, SC to Jefferson "Jeff" Davis Strickland and Charity Derotha Hayes Strickland.
