It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franky Owens (Denton, North Carolina), who passed away on April 27, 2019, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brothers, Roger, Lonnie and Junior Ray Owens. He is survived by: his parents, James Alton Owens and Nora Carlton Owens; his wife Linda Cody Owens; his children, Franklin "Buster" Cody of Trinity, Tina Fire of Denton, Tonya Mabry of Lexington and Tiffany Owens of Denton; and his sisters, Sylvia Owens of South Carolina, Brenda Hoffman of South Carolina, Betty Gore of Ashe, Linda Rogers of South Carolina and Janet Hughes of Lexington. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
