It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elvira (Vera) Gracis of Denton, North Carolina, born in Manchester, Connecticut, who passed away on February 9, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Gallasso and John Gallasso; her husbands, Gerhard Bartelt and Ido Gracis; and her stepson Jerry Gracis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Berry (Robert) of Elm City, NC and Marlene Young (Ralph) of Denton, NC.; her stepson George Gracis (Meredith); her daughter-in-law Marian Gracis (Trabuco); and her grandchildren, Jennifer Wilson Baltimore, MD (James), Denise Williamson (Chris), Robert Berry (Jackie), Alex Berlow (Corey), Grant Gracis (Ashley) and Ryan Young (Angela Brown).
