Della Richey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Della Richey of Denton, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 11, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Warren Rush and Vida Cornelison Rush; her former husband Joseph "Don" Richey; her husband William "Thomas" Loflin; and her brother-in-law W. A. Hammond.
She is survived by: her sister Doris Rush Hammond; her nieces, Camela Nixon (Mike), Terri R. Cullop (Tim) and Susan R. Hedrick (Terry); her nephew Jonathan Hammond; her stepson William Monroe Loflin (Amanda); her stepgrandchildren, Chandler Loflin (Kyla) and Nichole Kearns (Tristan); and her friend Yvonne Deaton.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Service (908 Albemarle Rd, Asheboro, NC 27203). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
