We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2020, at the age of 67, Debbie Short of Denton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, L. Pinkney Hollar and Ruth Ileen Hollar of Newton. She is survived by: her significant other Gary Hurst; her close friend Gary Hurst; her daughter Nicole Simoes (Marcos) of Winston-Salem; her brother Donald Hollar of Claremont; her nephew Donnie Hollar of Hickory; her great-nephews, Justin and Jesse Hollar; and also Wendy Hollar of Hickory. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a charitable donation to Hospice of the Piedmont or the American Brain Tumor Association.
