He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Garner and Mary Hughes Garner; and his siblings, Patty Hamby and Herman Garner (Mary Ann Andrews). He is survived by: his siblings, Ellna Talbert of Asheboro, Becky Powers (Everette) of Denton, Kay Craig (Reid) of Warrensville, Elaine Gallimore (Tommy) of Denton, Sherrell Callicutt (Ricky) of Denton, Whitman Garner of Denton and Donnell Garner; and his wife Norma of Denton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
