She was predeceased by: her parents, Reese Hogan and Sarah "Polly" Stafford Hogan; her brothers, Harold Hogan, Larry Hogan, David Hogan and Danny Hogan; and her siblings-in-law, Jim Wilson and Beverly Hogan.
She is survived by: her husband Wylie Brown; her children, Susan Cagle (Tim) and Robert Brown (Lorie); her grandchildren, Corey Cagle (Amy), Eli Cagle, Luisa Encabo, Reid Cagle, Savannah Brown, Addison Brown and Alexander Brown; her great grandchildren, Emily Cagle and Tanner Cagle; her siblings, Kathy Wilson and Tommy Hogan (Angie); her sisters-in-law, Betty Hogan, Olga Hogan and Ruth Hogan; and her sister Betty Matthews. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and numerous cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the New Hope Methodist Church (7163 New Hope Rd, Denton, NC 27239). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
