He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Campbell and Clara Tickle Campbell; his wife Linda Marie Campbell; his granddaughter Edith Green; and his brothers, Eckerd, Clifford and Jimmy Campbell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lora Willis (James) of Franklinville, Kerry Staley of Denton and Diane Hallings (Matt) of Denton; his grandchildren, Tiffany Marie Curry (Charles) of Thomasville, Christopher Lee McDowell of Randleman, Cindy Campbell of Fayetteville and Golda Nance (Derrick); and his siblings, Diane Prevatte (Mike), Virginia Young and Vance Campbell of Asheboro. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
