With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alvin Workman of Denton, North Carolina, born in Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away on November 10, 2020 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Workman and Dorothy Lamb Workman; his siblings, Archie, Jr., Lee, Richard, Robert Workman, Denie Hill and Elma Cody; and his great grandchild Master Hunter Tavion Johnson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela Fields of Lumberton, Mary Jean Hunt (Jerry) of Raeford, Pansy Oxendine (Thaddis) of Lumberton and Melissa Ann Workman; his siblings, Ethel Freeman (Gary), Homer Workman of Denton and Ricky Workman (Rhonda) of Denton; and his close friend Jerry Cummings of Raeford. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
