He was predeceased by: his parents, Val John Hogan and Louie Shaw Hogan; his wife Nancy Ball Hogan; and his son-in-law Neal Kiser. He is survived by: his children, Alvin Hogan, Jr. (Kandy) of Denton, Elaine Hogan Kiser of Denton and Marcell Hogan Lomax (Dale) of Lexington; his brother Herman Hogan (Connie) of Denton; his grandchildren, Kristen Elberson (Scotty), Stella Hineline (Chris), Dr. Hagan Kiser, Brittany Powers (Nathan), Jessica Hogan, Bryson Hogan, Desirae Lawson and Carolina Boxberger; and his great grandchildren, Lorelei Elberson, Laken Elberson, Ryleigh Hineline, Ryder Hineline, Holland Powers, Oakleigh Powers and Wrenlee Powers.
