He is survived by: his fiancée Eleanor Turner of Delco, NC; his daughter Sheri Lynn Carroll (Richard Meehan) of Wilmington, NC; his brother Hubert Dare Carroll of Riegelwood, NC; and his grandchildren, Sara Meehan, Kate Meehan and Richard Meehan, III.
