He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Allen Lewis, Sr. and Mary Irene Shaw Lewis; and his siblings, Edward Earl Lewis, Sr. and Diane Lewis Williford. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Golden Lewis; his children, Melissa Lewis Bradley (William) of New Bern, N. C, Brandi Lewis Richardson (Chris) of New Bern, N. C, Brooke Lewis Baldwin of Lake Waccamaw, N. C. and Joseph Michael "Joey" Lewis, Jr. (Candace) of Delco, N. C.; and his brothers, Charles Allen Lewis, Jr. and William Ruffin Lewis, Sr.. He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren.
