He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jasper Smith and Mary Champion Smith; and his wife Linda Faye Smith. He is survived by: his children, Teresa Smith Twyne (Ronnie) of Manteo, Terry Smith Huey of Delco, N. C. and Richard Smith of Delco, N. C.; his brothers, Lloyd Smith of Wilmington, N. C. and Gerald Smith of Delco, N. C.; and his granddaughters, Milina Moriarty of Florida and Julia Huey of Delco.
