It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pearl Whitfield of Deep Run, North Carolina, who passed away on November 11, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Carter and Callie Carter; her husband Elmer Whitfield; her son Anthony Sanderson; and her siblings, Helen Grace Carter, J. D. Carter and L. B. Carter.
She is survived by: her daughter Bonnie Fox of Jacksonville; her grandchildren, Angela Laureano (Edwin) of Stella, Carlton Dail (Charlene) of Jacksonville, Ray Sanderson (Gabby) of Richlands, Scott Sanderson (Dorey) of Richlands and Allison Sanderson (Jay) of Richlands; her daughter-in-law Patricia Sanderson; her great grandchildren, Katie Dail, Shelby Dail, Makenzie Laureano, Jordan Sanderson, Landon Sanderson, Dillon Sanderson, Paisley Sanderson, Malyiah Sanderson and Elly Sanderson; and her great great grandchildren, Sophia, Annabelle, Alora, Nova and Raiden. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
