He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nathan Alexander Stanley and Willie Brown; his significant other Hilda Grace Howard; his son Robert Cox; his great grandchild Christopher Ash Stallings; and his children, Donald Milton Stanley (Sandra Rich Stanley) and Marsha Smith (Glennie Smith). He was also cherished by seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and eleven great-great grandchildren.
