We are sad to announce that on May 1, 2024, at the age of 84, Eleanor Janet Griffin of Deep Run, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Eleanor is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Eleanor's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Esley "Buddy" Griffin; and her daughter-in-law Terry Griffin. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Garris (Butch), Phyllis Turnage, Veronica Broadie, Roger Griffin, William A. Griffin and Brian Griffin (Mary); and her sister Linda Holmes. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grand daughter.
