She was predeceased by: her husband Hugh Colvin, Sr.; her parents, Henry Clay Harper and Pattie Lou Rouse Harper; and her brother Patrick Henry Harper. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Carla Colvin of Wilson and Dr. Hugh Colvin, Jr. (Trish) of Lynchburg, VA; her sister Hontas Harper Sutton (Jerry Eddie Sutton) of Williston, SC; her sisters-in-law, Dorothy of Louisville, KY and Sarah Pollock of Wilson; and her nephews, Jeff Jernigan (Theresa) of Dothan, AL and Clay Jernigan (Erin) of Summerville, SC. She is also survived by two great-nieces, two great-nephews.
