He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Hildreth and Anna Hildreth; and his siblings, Janie Sides, Mary F. Turner, Warren Hildreth, Andrew Hildreth and Edward Hildreth.
He is survived by: his sisters, Rachel Hancock of LaGrange and Dorothy Carpenter of Wadesboro; his stepsister Jean Morris of Polktown; and his brothers, Leonard Hildreth of Wadesboro and J. T. Hildreth of Peachland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
