Nathan Barker Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nathan Barker of Deep Gap, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 16, 2025 at the age of 41. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Ronald Douglas Barker (Ronnie); his grandparents, Emmett, Wylene Barker, Nadine and Joe Craven; and his uncle Randy Barker.
He is survived by: his mother Betty Barnes Barker (Danny) of Millers Creek; his son Silas Barker of West Jefferson; his sister Heather Barker Peters (Marty) of Crumpler; his close friend Taylor Byland; his niece Hadley Peters; his nephew Harper Peters; his cousins, Callie Lewis (Dalton) of Jefferson and Luke Barker (Sara Ford); and his special boys, Ayden, Asher, Bubba and Adler Lonon. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bald Mountain Baptist Church (1435 Bald Mountain Rd, West Jefferson, NC 28694).
