She was predeceased by: her father Walter Arnold; her husband Robert Lee Barker; and her son David Wayne Barker. She is survived by: her children, Timothy R. Barker (Julie) of Wilmington and Karen Mills (John) of Deep Gap; and her grandchildren, Avery Paul Blevins of Lake Tahoe, CA, Kendall Blevins, Mertily (Mehdi) of Raleigh, Robert Seth Barker and Grant Spencer Barker (Emeline Grace Barker). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
