With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maggie Juanita Welch (Deep Gap, North Carolina), who passed away on September 11, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil M. Greer and Clara Church Greer; her husband Ransom E. Welch; her daughter Mary Evelyn Welch Beshears; her grandson-in-law Christopher Ward; and her siblings, Paul, Silas, Brook, Joe, Shanty, Zeke Greer, Dare Greene and Mozelle Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Charles E. Welch (Sharon) of Boone and Euna Dale Church of Germanton, NC; her grandchildren, Renee Beshears Hamby (Doug) of Deep Gap, Carla Welch Johnson (David) of Boone and Mitchel E. Church (Alison) of Germanton; her great grandchildren, Candice Ward of Sugar Grove, Amelia Johnson of Boone, Maggie, Katie Church of Germanton, Joshua Hamby of Boone and Zane Johnson of Boone; her great great grandchildren, Molly, Katie Ward of Sugar Grove, Tessa Rose Hamby of Boone, Titus, Tilden and Talon Hamby of Boone; her son-in-law Ray Beshears of Deep Gap; her siblings, Lezette Greer of Boone, Joann Greer (Bill) of Lenoir and Mack Greer of Boone; her sisters-in-law, Joyce Greer of Boone and Diane Greer of Clayton, NC.; and her grandson Mitchel Church. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
