It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Carroll Jr. (Deep Gap, North Carolina), who passed away on December 6, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Carroll and Rosa Hodges Carroll; his wife Sue Wyatt Carroll; his daughter Mary Nicole Carroll; and his siblings, Mabel Goda, Betty Hawkins, Archie Carroll, Baxter Carroll and Robert Newell Carroll.
He is survived by: his daughters, Challe Talbot (Jeff) of Boone and Renee Carroll of Belews Creek; his grandchildren, Madison Johnson (Charles) of Creston, Laiken South of Highpoint, Cole South (Sierra) of Thomasville and Shane Talbot (Evie) of Boone; his great grandchildren, Jackson Johnson of Creston and Saylor Johnson of Creston; his sister Reba Randall of Deep Gap; and his close friends, Carolyn Rash and Marissa Soto. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
