It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Calvin Hicks (Deep Gap, North Carolina), who passed away on May 20, 2020, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Jackson and Mary Arnett Hicks; and his son Andy Doyle Hicks. He is survived by: his sons, Johnny Calvin, J. C., Boone and Dakota Yates-Hicks of Deep Gap; his stepson Tommy Yates of Deep Gap; his grandson Doyle Hicks of Fleetwood; and his siblings, Edna Trivette (Kevin) of Deep Gap, Shirley Miller (Ted) of Deep Gap, James Andrew Hicks of West Jefferson and Bobby Joe Hicks of Deep Gap.
