With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janie Holbrook Greer of Deep Gap, North Carolina, born in Wise, Virginia, who passed away on August 16, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert A. Holbrook and Pearl Brown Holbrook; and her husband Charles Donald Greer. She is survived by: her children, Donna Clark (Bud) of Morganton, Connie Watson (Jerry) of Lenoir, Carol Dollar (Raymond) of Deep Gap, Linda Greene (R. L.) of Lenoir, Chuck Greer (Sabine) of Banner Elk and Matt Greer of Deep Gap; and her sisters, Ilene Hyler of Bluff City, TN and Myrtle Holbrook of St. Paul. She is also survived by ten grandsons, six granddaughters, and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
