He is survived by: his parents, James Robert Cornell and Brenda Watson Cornell; his sons, Josh Nations (Meghan) of Boone and Shane Brady of New Mexico; his sisters, Dawn Chiarolanzio (Skip) of Deep Gap and Angela McLean (Travis) of Banner Elk; his grandchild Scarlet Nations of Boone; his nieces and nephews, Robert Chiarolanzio (Char) of West Jefferson, Adam Chiarolanzio (Lexy) of Concord, Holden McLean of Banner Elk, Austin McLean of Banner Elk, Brooke Chiarolanzio of Greensboro and Amber Chiarolanzio of Greensboro; and his great-nephews, Kaiden Chiarolanzio of West Jefferson and Jaxon Chiarolanzio of West Jefferson.
