She was predeceased by: her parents, Philmore Triplett and Vertie Johnson Triplett; her siblings, Fred (Jewel), Graham (Martha), Frank Triplett, Myrtle Cox (Virgil), Dessie Trivette (Clemon), Virginia Parsons (Clarence), Betty Winebarger (Kent), Irene Story (Lester) and Jewel Clark (Alfred "Buck"); her brother-in-law Earl Miller; and her great grandchild Tara Guy.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin Trivette; her children, Alvin Trivette (Elaine) of Deep Gap, Kevin Trivette (Edna) of Deep Gap and Marcella Proffit (David) of Boone; her grandchildren, Dale Trivette, Phoebe Pittman (T. J.), Tabitha Proffit and Natasha Guy (Kevin); her stepgrandson Benjamin Hicks; her great grandchild Garrison; her granddaughter Arianna; her sister Ellen Miller; and her sisters-in-law, Della Trivette, Julia Faye Trivette and Mary Trivette. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
