She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Cox and Betty Broyhill Cox; her daughters, Brenda Triplett Dew (Eddie) of Wilkesboro and Phyllis J. Triplett of Deep Gap; her former husband Frank M. Triplett; her husband Clemon S. Trivette; her son Ronald Triplett; and her siblings, Anna Lee Miller, Vera Hendrix, Mary Lou Wellborn, Don and Carson Cox.
She is survived by: her sister Barbara Cox Melton of Happy Valley; and her stepsons, David Trivette (Marcella) of West Jefferson and J. C. Trivette of Fleetwood. She is also survived by Twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Medi Home Health and Hospice, 400 Shadowline.
