He is survived by: his wife Paula Farthing Brooks; his sons, Mark Bowman (John) and William Ross; his stepchildren, Melissa Chambers (Andrew) and Gregory Worley (Christina); his sister Ruth Sessions; his grandson John; and his stepgrandchildren, Caroline, Nathan, Matthew, Gregory and Gantt.
