He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Luther Reid and Bessie Mae Lambeth Reid; and his sister Ramona Mae Reid. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Clodfelter; his children, Mark Reid (Amy) of Winston-Salem and Sherrie Gilbert (Byron) of Winston-Salem; his grandchildren, Jonathan Reid (Kristina) of Denton, Kevin Alphin (Emily) of High Point, Kimberly Smith (Ty) of Winston-Salem and Sierra South (Cole) of Winston-Salem; his brothers, Paul Reid (Maria) of Winston-Salem and Nolan Reid (Edith) of Winston-Salem; and his pet Gypsy.
