Rosemary Raynal Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Rosemary Raynal of Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 78, on July 19, 2024. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Rosemary Raynal to show support.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Rosemary may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, R. Lewis Alexander, Sr. and Julia Anne McKnight Alexander; her husband Charles E. Raynal, III; her sons, Charles Edward Raynal, IV (Ann Brooke Lewis) and Jeremy McKnight Raynal (Mia Theresa Bullecer); and her grandchildren, Rosemary Trowbridge Raynal, Margaret Latané Raynal and Jones Edgar Comeros Raynal.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Davidson College Presbyterian Church, The Pines at Davidson Chaplain's fund, or another charity of choice.

Lana Tinker wrote a sympathy message

“I attended North Elkin Elementary, Our students merged with Elkin Elementary students in the 8th grade of Elkin High. Fortunately for me, Rosemary was in several of my 8th grade classes and was most congenial, remaining so throughout high school. I truly appreciated her friendship then and now. I remember fondly her laughter, outlook on life and beautiful smile. May her family and friends share their memories of her often, and, always, remember her smile. Lana Buxton Tinker '64”
