He was predeceased by: his son Tommy; and his parents, Mae and James. He is survived by: his wife Rose Hammond; his children, John, Jr. (Jennifer), William (Susan) and Laura Randall; his grandchildren, Heather Ward (Ryan), Ian, Sarah, Stephen, Ben and Jack; and his great grandchildren, Zachary and Tyson Ward. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
