We are sad to announce that on March 2, 2025, Joann Rautenberg (Davidson, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eunice Jordan Johnston of Mooresville, NC. and Harrison Nathaniel Johnston; her husband Theodore H. Rautenberg III; her nephew Jack Holden; and her siblings-in-law, Edgar McKoy Matheson and Lana Kay Rautenberg.
She is survived by: her sister Natalie Johnston Matheson; her siblings-in-law, John Rautenberg, Carla Rautenberg (Len Friedson) and Sarah Holden (Edward); and her nieces and nephews, Sharon Godbout (Michael), Michael McKoy Matheson, Paul Rautenberg (Sandy), Lisa Rautenberg, Amy Fletcher, Katherine Jensen (A. J.) and Seth Holden (Geneses). She is also survived by thirteen great-nieces and -nephews, two great-great nephews and one great-great niece.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Ada Jenkins Center in Davidson, the Residents' Support Fund at the Pines, or a charity of your choice that makes you think of Joann.
