It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edsel Richard Field of Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away on May 9, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Field and Aili Field; and his brother Marvin Field. He is survived by: his wife Elsie; and his children, David Field (Sherri), Cathy Foster (Mark), Beth Field (David Pritchard) and Susan Field Waite (Duncan).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital, the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of choice in Ed's honor.
