He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Jesse Wayne and Martha Sheets Wayne. He is survived by: his wife Nina of Mooresville, NC.; his children, Sylvia Kinkaid (Wallie) of Davidson, Eric (Tammy) of China Grove and Keith (Michelle) of Concord; and also Claude Delmar Wayne Jr..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Peak Creek Church of the Brethren (2082 Peak Creek Church Rd, Laurel Springs, NC 28644).
