He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Mabe and Matilda Nelson Mabe; his daughter Melissa; and his brothers, Leonard, Gillis, Russell, Cazzie, Leslie and Curtis.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley "Ann" Mabe; his son Greg Mabe; his granddaughter Misty Mabe Golding (Tracy); and his great grandchild Connor Griffin.
