Barbara Ann Nelson Mabe Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Nelson Mabe (Danbury, North Carolina), who passed away on September 15, 2018, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gillis Mabe; her daughter Wanda Cope; her granddaughter Ashley Mabe; and her sisters, Crystal Chisolm, Lelia East and Gretal Simmons.
She is survived by: her parents, Howard Oliver Nelson and Eva Simmons Nelson; her children, Karen Annette Baker, Vincent Mabe (Cindy), Bruce and Margaret; and her grandchildren, Alex Dustin, Jason Dustin (Danielle), Shannon Dustin and Corey Dustin (Amy). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and many special friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 129 Veteran's Drive, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041.
