He was predeceased by: his parents, Edker Fulp and Cattie Bullins Fulp; and his siblings, Otis Fulp, John Carson Fulp, Silas Fulp, William "Jabo" Fulp and Nancy Fulp Whitt.

He is survived by: his wife Vernell Mabe Fulp; his son Michael Ray Fulp; his grandson Michael Caleb Fulp; and his great grandchild Bailey Thompson. He is also survived by several nephews, and great-niece and nephews.
