She was predeceased by: her parents, Joshua Bryan Lawson and Mentora L. Lawson; her siblings, Ruth L. Smith, Burnette Lawson and Bryant Junior Lawson; and her brothers-in-law, Wesley Mabe and Noel Dick Smith.
She is survived by: her sisters, Faye L. Mabe and Effie Jean Lawson; her sisters-in-law, Ramona H. Lawson and Marsha Lawson; and her nieces, Michelle Freeman (Darrell) and Melissa L. Carter (Eddie). She is also survived by three great-nieces, one great nephew; eight great-great nephews; and two great-great nieces.
