It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Tomberlin (Dallas, North Carolina), born in Chester, South Carolina, who passed away on February 8, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Tomberlin and Marie V. Tomberlin; and his siblings, Clifford, Eskin, James Tomberlin, Elizabeth Howell, Idonia Page, Robbie Lawrence, Betty Gato and Jean Tomberlin.
He is survived by: his wife Alaine H. Tomberlin; his children, Gordon Tomberlin (Melissa), Billy Tomberlin (Frankie), Cindy Leviner (Richard) and Melinda DeRuyscher (Larry); his grandchildren, Chris Kirksey, Leslie Scofield (Jason), Michael Tomberlin (Lauren), Victoria L. Tomberlin, Kyle Tomberlin, Darrell Posey (Julia), Phillip Jenkins (Amber), Stephine Jenkins and Savannah Conrad; and his siblings, Joe Tomberlin, Steve Tomberlin (Kathy), Rachel Hartness and Helen Mason. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
