It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Lorraine Chronister of Dallas, North Carolina, born in Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away on February 16, 2022, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her significant other Sidney "Pete" Chronister; her father Lewis Redell Green; and her sister Carolyn Nance. She is survived by: her mother Geraldine Green of Stanley; her children, Melissa Stratton (Darren) of Cramerton, Jeremy Chronister (Andrea) of Flat Rock and Stephanie Lowe of Stanley; her grandchildren, Tenyson Chronister and Lily Lowe of Stanley; her siblings, Karen Hager (Jimmy) of Clover, SC, Patricia Abernathy (David) of Stanley and Roger Green of Stanley; and her close friend Todd Featherstone of Dallas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, in-laws, extended family.
